The Loch Droma Viewpoint is on the left side of the A835 when you are heading to Ullapool. It is a rather small loch with a fascinating scenery. The viewpoint is on the east side of the Loch, so you have a small island with some trees between you and the mountains in the distance. You can walk to the shore from the small parking area, and I recommend staying on the trail because it can be quite boggy. I noted how loud the cars are in this valley, mostly caused by the tires on the rough pavement. It‘s almost silent if there are no cars nearby. You hear the wind and maybe the singing of a willow warbler.
